We are hosting this fun event to raise funds for the new elevator that was added to our historic building located at 1108 Bull St, Savannah, GA 31401. This elevator has been a great addition and has allowed all Veterans and members of the public to enjoy our beautiful Grand Ballroom to hold their memorable events. We will start the event at 1:00pm as players and teams start to show up to the venue located at the newly renovated Southbridge Golf Club! The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1:30pm! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place along with the longest drive and closest to the pin! Your ticket purchase includes your golf game, a custom tournament polo shirt, and lunch!

THE ACTUAL HIKE ITSELF IS FOR VETERANS, ACTIVE DUTY, NATIONAL GUARD, AND RESERVISTS ONLY.
The Irreverent Warriors Silkies Hikes are a series of therapeutic events across the nation designed to PREVENT veteran suicide by bringing veterans together using humor and camaraderie to heal the mental wounds of war.
Veterans operate differently than most others in the face of tragedy or adversity in that they are more likely to use humor and camaraderie as a coping mechanism than anything else. In order to create and maintain this environment of support and understanding, civilians are not allowed to hike in our events. CIVILIANS: Please meet us for the initial festivities and/or at stop locations along the route if you'd like to receive your veterans with cheers, hugs, kisses, photos, videos, screaming, yelling, and excessive PDA.
Irreverent Warriors events create a lasting network of support and communicates this message: "put the gun back on safe, put it back on the nightstand, and stick around a bit longer."
