When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Walks, you join the effort with hundreds of thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss.
Thanks to Walkers and Donors like you, AFSP has been able to set a goal to reduce the annual suicide rate 20% by 2025.
This event is rain or shine. The T.E.A.L.® Savannah Walk is an annual event! The T.E.A.L.® Walk Program was started by two sisters, that celebrates the courage of ovarian cancer survivors and the strength of the families who have been touched by the disease, while spreading awareness to the public and raising money for research. This annual event takes place every September during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month at Lake Mayer Park and other locations across the USA!
