Since 2009, the T.E.A.L.® Walk/Run program has taken place during September, which is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
The T.E.A.L.® Walk is a non-competitive walk. The T.E.A.L.® Walk is an event that celebrates the courage of Ovarian Cancer survivors and the strength of the families who’ve been touched by the disease, while spreading awareness to the general public and raising money for research. There are exciting activities for the whole family to enjoy.
This event functions on the principle that awareness and education of the signs, symptoms, and risk factors of Ovarian Cancer is empowering, and that understanding this deadly disease is the first step towards fighting it.
